IIThe road ahead

First impressions, second thoughts.

The route begins at Longbourn, the Bennet family home, and follows Elizabeth to Meryton, to Rosings Park, Lady Catherine de Bourgh’s estate in Kent, and on through Lambton to Pemberley. It is the longer of StoryTrek’s two Pride and Prejudice routes; The Walk to Pemberley makes the same trip in 25 miles.

Each waypoint pairs one of Hugh Thomson’s drawings, restored and colorized, with a moment from the novel, a quotation, and a little historical context. Reach one, and the road to the next opens.
