IHow far is Neverland from London?

Second to the right, then seventy-five miles.

J. M. Barrie’s only directions are “second to the right, and straight on till morning.” StoryTrek lays Neverland out as one island and estimates the distances between its places, for a 75-mile route with 12 waypoints. Every walk, run, or treadmill session your phone records carries you closer.

IIThe road ahead

Neverland, from the nursery window.

The route begins in the Darling nursery in London and follows the children’s flight to Neverland. There it winds from the Lost Boys’ hideouts in the woods to Mermaid Lagoon and the deck of the Jolly Roger, before the children finally fly home.

Each waypoint pairs a restored watercolor by Alice B. Woodward with a moment from the story. Reach one, and the next stretch of the island opens.
